Hey there,
Thanks for checking out Rooted Reflections Newsletter. Like many of us, I wear a lot of identities. I’m a mother, therapist, yogi, world traveler, daughter, sister, friend, and trauma survivor—along with countless other experiences and roles that have shaped who I am.
Lately, I’ve been on a journey of making space for all of those parts of myself, especially the ones that don’t always fit neatly into expectations—my own or those placed on me by others. Through that process, I’ve come to realize that many of us are navigating similar journeys: learning who we are beneath the roles we play, reconnecting with ourselves after loss or change, and finding our way back home.
That’s what inspired Rooted Reflections.
Rooted Reflections is a space for brief, meaningful reflections, nervous system education, and practical resources rooted in one central idea:
Coming Home to Yourself.
Through seasons of uncertainty, grief, growth, fear, and change, I’ve found that the moments when I feel most grounded, connected, and secure are often the simplest ones: returning to routine, moving my body, spending time in reflection, meditating, journaling, and creating space to listen to myself.
Not because those practices make life perfect, but because they help me remember who I am when life feels overwhelming.
My hope is that this newsletter offers you the same invitation.
Each month, I’ll share reflections, education, and resources designed to help you pause, reconnect, and come home to yourself—one small step at a time.
Journal Prompt
What practices, routines, or moments help you feel most connected to yourself?
What helps you remember who you are beneath the demands of everyday life?
With gratitude,
Stephanie
